The Retreat & The Cottage
Here’s our story….
After years of providing planning, training and marketing services for mission-driven nonprofits, Kingery & Company realized a need to reimagine the traditional workspace experience by creating two distinct and inviting venues.
The Retreat is a lodge-like building surrounded by a lush forest and designed with business in mind, meaning it is the ideal place to host meetings, trainings and retreats. The Cottage is reminiscent of a large-scale modern farmhouse designed to host parties and events. In addition to renting space for events, both venues are home to nonprofits and small businesses that rent affordable office space.
Kingery & Company clients have the benefit of utilizing space at both venues during the duration of their contract. The Retreat and The Cottage are located in Northgate Bushiness Park between the West Virginia State Capitol and Yeager Airport.

The Cottage at Northgate has all the charms of rural Southern hospitality, with all the business benefits of downtown Charleston. Complete with a spacious balcony facing majestic mountains, we thought it only fitting to feature art exclusively made by West Virginia artists. The art matches our minimalist theme of using only black, white, and wood grain to truly capture the simplicity and elegance of this one-of-a-kind space.
